Thoughts and Prayers for A Merciful God
I forgot how good it felt to be on the skiis! Skiing and tubing all day! :)

Today me and my aunt crossed one thing off our bucket list, sink and walk a boat back to shore.

We had a good laugh, jumping in, getting soaked and dragging the boat to shore.

Memorial day weekends are truly full of memories haha!

Our God is faithful forever.

[V1] “Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

[C] “Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

[V2] Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

[V3] Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

I think I’m becoming an ahjumma… watching dramas, baking cookies, and falling asleep round midnight. Oh boy hahaha!

Whenever my emotions get the best of me, I tend to panic and freak out and begin to feel small and helpless, its in these moments that I need to take a deep breath, a step back, and realize that I’m not alone.

Someday I hope I would have faith so strong, that no matter where I stand, where I am, how I am feeling, that I could too, sing at the top of my lungs, the truth that is within my heart. And this song is just that truth. Give me Jesus.

13 miles never felt sooo good. :) My goal is to work it up to 20 miles a day… we’ll see how long it takes before i reach that goal, 65% there! Here’s to good health,exercise, and a year’s worth of vitamin D!!!

My Dream

Someday I want to watch yo-yo ma perform live, in the best seats available, next to someone who shares the same love for music…

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]
3 plays

Last night I went to one of my small group girl’s spring concert, and this is one of the song’s that her choir (MSU Children’s Choir) performed… it was so beautiful that it brought me tears haha… I’m a sap for beautiful music. Congrats! I really enjoyed your concert! These kids definitely have a lot of talent!

Life’s Big Lesson

As I’ve been reading Mark, I constantly see Jesus telling us one major thing, and it goes along these lines: we are what we think.

If we are positive in our thinking, and have faith that all things will work out, God ALWAYS provides.
But if we start off with a negative attitude, thinking nothing will change… nothing will change, because we lack the faith, and we don’t try.

What I’ve been learning is this,
Yes there will be struggles… we all have them,
And yes sometimes things won’t go your way,
And yes you’ll have questions, face heart ache,
But if you make the best out of each circumstance,
If you give it back to God and thank Him daily for everything,
Those struggles, they will seem trivial, compared to the joy we have in the Lord.

Jesus was the greatest optimist, and saw, realized, and achieved the full potential of God’s work, for He was fully God, and fully human.
Therefore, to be ‘Christ-like’ we must strive to achieve the same optimism, the same faith, the same joy, the same love. We’ll never reach it 100% because we aren’t God, but if we persevere, if we keep fighting, keep loving, keep laughing, keep in fellowship, we will slowly but surely continue up that mountain.

Let’s be positive! God ALWAYS provides!
